About Online Duke

Online Duke is a university-wide initiative to advance educational excellence through online teaching and learning. We provide leadership and support to faculty and programs across the university to promote teaching innovation, strengthen Duke’s global partnerships and expand access to Duke’s knowledge in service to society. Online Duke was founded in 2012 at the initiative of the provost and with the leadership of Lynne O’Brien, Associate Vice Provost for Digital and Online Education Initiatives.
