Overview

In this introductory course offered by Duke Divinity+, you’ll learn the value of approaching church administration theologically. First, this course will lay the theological foundation of church admin as Christian church practices critical to pastoral leadership. Once we have grounded church admin in theology, we will draw upon secular management practices and reshape them into tools used to meet church admin’s theological goals.

More specifically, this course will address time management, a huge challenge for many pastors and church leaders. To do so, we will take classic time management principles from thinkers such as Covey and Drucker and reappropriate them toward a Christian stewardship of time.
