Overview

This Duke Divinity+ course explores Christian leadership through the lens of John Wesley and Methodism. Over the course of four weeks, you will learn about what it means to be a Christ-shaped leader and how to become one, drawing on Wesleyan wisdom, Mary’s witness, and Jesus’s teachings. You will also examine how calling and trauma inform Christian leadership.

You’ll take practical steps to incorporate theology in your own worship, fellowship, teaching, and mission. Part of the Rediscovering the Heart of Methodism series, this course is designed for both spiritual leaders and members of the faith community to develop core capacities for innovative leadership within the Wesleyan tradition.
