Statistics with R

Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel, assistant professor of the practice in Duke’s Department of Statistical Science, created a Coursera Specialization that expands upon the popular open online statistics course she launched in 2014. In four courses and a capstone project, students learn foundational concepts of statistics, including inference, modeling, and Bayesian approaches. Students also learn to use R, a widely-used data analysis programming language. Parts of the Specialization are taught by David Banks, Merlise Clyde and Colin Rundel, all of Duke’s Statistical Science Department.
