Online learning for Duke undergraduates
Duke’s online education projects have allowed faculty to develop inventive teaching approaches that they have incorporated into classrooms on-campus. Duke offers online courses in statistics and writing during the summer session for students away from campus. Faculty have used materials originally developed for open, online courses to “flip” undergraduates courses, developed new open access learning materials, engaged Duke students in interdisciplinary research, and brought new perspectives to longstanding programs.
Online Duke continues to work with Duke faculty to explore ways that online materials and activities can enhance undergraduate education.
